Every bride wants to stand out on her wedding day. Therefore, all brides will go through all lengths to look good and stunning on that special day. To make that happen, make sure you begin your wedding shopping early especially when it comes to your bridal attire. With a huge assortment of bridal attire available to suit all sizes, shapes, ages and personalities, it can be a daunting task to make choices and decisions. Here are some tips when it comes to making decisions on your bridal attire:
1. Your Bridal Hairstyle
How do you want to wear your hair? Which way complements your dress best? Consider this before you choose what bridal accessories to buy for your hair. You may decide that you want an up-do that will look great with a tiara, or you may prefer to have your hair down and braided with fresh flowers that match the ones in your wedding bouquet.
2. Your Wedding Veil
Whether or not you wear a veil is a personal choice. Many brides continue to follow the veil tradition but they don’t always have the veil covering their face as they walk down the aisle to meet their partner. When choosing a veil consider how well the length and style of it fits with your chosen wedding dress.
3. Your Wedding Shoes
Shoes are an important part of your wedding shopping. What size heel do you feel the most comfortable in? If you want to wear high heels, how tall is your husband to be? If you are of similar heights, consider how you will look together when you stand side by side making your vows if you choose to where 3 inch heels!
4. Be Practical with Your Wedding Dress
Remember that unless you intend to wear a different bridal dress for your wedding reception, you will have this outfit on for a number of hours and will be required to walk around in it, post for photographs in it, perhaps kneel at an alter and certainly eat. Your entire wedding day outfit needs to be practical as well as pretty! A thigh length split at one side may be sexy but how will you feel getting out of a vehicle, or crouching down for photographs?
5. What’s Your Wedding Theme?
If you are having a themed wedding, you might find the perfect bridal dress that fits your theme in a costume store rather than a bridal store.
6. What’s the Weather Like?
Consider the time of year that you are having your wedding. It could be that you need to find a wrap that will stop you from freezing when having your photos taken in your chosen bridal dress.
7. Hire a Wedding Dress
Wedding dresses don’t have to be bought! If you want to wear a designer dress, but your wedding budget doesn’t stretch that far, you could hire your bridal wear instead of buying it.
